Above a double bed of 150–180 cm, one 50x70 cm print works well, or two 40x50 cm hung symmetrically. For a single bed, 40x50 cm is usually enough.

How high above the bed should a poster hang?

Keep the bottom edge 20–30 cm above the headboard. The artwork and the bed then read as one unit instead of the print floating too high.

Which colours work best in a bedroom?

Cream, beige, sand and muted green. They reflect light without glare and rarely clash with bedding.

Matte or glossy paper for a bedroom?

Matte is usually better. It gives no reflections from ceiling lights or bedside lamps, and a quieter finish that suits the room.
