Pink posters

Pink in interiors is rarely about strong pink. What works on a wall are the muted variants — dusty pink, terracotta, coral — which give warmth without turning sweet.\n\nThe colour is easier to use than people expect. Dusty pink against a white wall reads almost as a neutral, and it sits well with grey, beige and dark green. The hardest combination is strong pink in cold light, where the result quickly turns harsh.\n\nPink works particularly well in bedrooms and children's rooms, but also as a single warm note in an otherwise neutral living room. One pink motif in a gallery wall of beige and grey makes the whole wall more alive.\n\nStick to one pink tone per room. Two different shades of pink on the same wall is usually one too many.
